THERE IS SUCH INCREDIBLE LIFE IN OUR OCEANS....WE MUST PROTECT THEM!
Dan was lonely and so he decided life would be more
fun if he had a pet. He went to the pet store and told the
owner that he wanted to buy an unusual pet.. After some
discussion, he finally bought a centipede, (100 leg bug),
which came in a little white box to use for his house. He
took the box home, found a good location for the box, and
decided he would start off by taking his new pet to the bar
for a drink.
So he asked the centipede in the box, 'Would you
like to go to Frank's place with me and have a beer?'
Silence; there was no answer from his new Pet. This
bothered him a bit, waited a few minutes, and then asked him
again, 'How about going to the bar and having a beer with
me?' Again, there was no answer, nothing but silence came
from his new friend and pet. So, he waited a few minutes
more, thinking about the situation.
He decided to ask him one more time. This time,
putting his face up against the centipede's house and
shouting, 'Hey, in there! Would you like to go to Frank's
place and have a beer with me?
THIS IS TOO NEAT - MIGHT KNOW THE "CAT" GETS A "FREE RIDE!"
This is a video of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family.
The man who owns them rigged up a harness for his cat so she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and himself).
At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat!
In this latest installment of CBS News Assignment America, Steve Hartman visits an animal sanctuary where a dog and an elephant have formed a very lasting, and unusual, friendship.
Of course we all know that the image of a snarling pit bull is much lovelier than that of a dirty pig in a sty. This ridiculous story reminds me of a scene in "Pulp Fiction" where Samuel L. Jackson character explaining the virtues of a feces-eating dog as opposed to a pig. I guess Palin deserves respect because she is a dog with a "charming" personality.
